Course Information

The course “Cinema Therapy and Film Training” will introduce students to the method of film therapy, its educational, educational and developmental potential. Particular attention of the course will be focused on the possibilities of using film therapy in organizing work on social education, in the prevention of antisocial and suicidal behavior, reducing aggressiveness, overcoming depression, anxiety, feelings of loneliness, obsessive thoughts and actions, crises and failures in life, indecision and loss of life guidelines , loss of the feeling of fullness of life. The possibilities of using cinematic material in the process of developing personal development, creative potential and logopsychotherapy in the context of the development of sanogenic thinking will also be considered. The course is intended for further use in working with children and adults, in family therapy. Students will receive a basic understanding of the main directions, methods, forms, and technologies of film therapy. Target audience: educational psychologists, social educators, educational advisers, class teachers, teachers of preschool educational organizations, teachers, librarians, students of pedagogical specialties and psychological and pedagogical profiles, future organizers of work with youth.
